A novel photoinitiator for modern technology

A new a-cleavage photoinitiator is presented. This initiator is especially useful in pigmented systems and in various applications of the imaging area due to its absorption characteristics in the range between 350 and 400 nni. Application results demonstrating its outstanding performance are presented. Photodecoinpositionpathways are discussed based on CIDNP and trapping experiments.
