New Perspectives in UV with Drop On Demand Piezo & UV Drying Technologies for Mass Customization

We shall make a first overview of the present digital technologies: Ink jet versus others technologies such as Thermal Transfer- Dye
Diffusion and liquid toner methods.. We shall present in details the different kinds of Ink Jet technologies in operation today and a comparison specially between Drop On Drop and Continuous
Ink Jet in UV inks jettings with high definition capabilities. We shall illustrate those by examples of
applications done on plastics smart cards. Finally we shall present the next perspectives of Drop On
Demand Piezo Technologies in the near future.
