New Sulfonium Salt based Photoinitiators for Cationic Photopolymerization

In cationic photopolymerization, the photoinitiator (PI) plays a key role in UV-curable systems by generating the reactive spiecies, a free acid, wich initiates the polymerization. In the past decades a large set of substances capable of photo-acis-generation have been tested as Pls, especially different onium-salts have been of prime interest.
