HDDA is a welt-known reactive diluent for a wide range of high viscous oligomer resins used in UV
curing technology. Due to environmental constraints, efforts have been made to develop new reactive diluents that can be used as substitutes of HDDA. In this study, a number, of diol diacrylates with varying chain lengths and different degrees of ethoxylation or propoxytation are compared to HDDA with respect to the properties they deliver in the formulation and the cured film.
