The work presents the results of a photo-induced copolymerization of dodecyl methacrylate (DDM) with ethylene-, diethylerie-, triethylene-, tetraethylene- and polyethylene glycol dimethacrylates (EGDM, DEGDM, TEGDM, TtEGDM and PEGDM, resp.). The influence of the comonomer ratio and the length of the dimethacrylate spacer group on the polymerization kinetics, pendant double bond content and the extent of the after-effect was investigated.
