Quenching of radicals formed in photopolymer layer by 2- mercaptobenzothiazole

Quenching of imidazoyl radical (1m) formed in photoinitiator systems comprising
an aminostyryl dye and a radical generating reagent by a 2-mercaptobenzothiazole
(MBT) :aminostyryl-dye; 2- p-(diethylamino)styryl] naphtho 1,2-d]thiazole (NAS),
radical generating reagent; 2,2'-bis(2-chlorophenyl)-4,4',5,5'-tetraphenyl- 1, 1'-bi- 1Himidazole
(BI) in a poly(methyl methacrylate) film has been investigated by laser flash
photolysis using a total reflection cell.
