One of the most common preparation method of graphene starts from the oxidation and exfoliation of graphite oxide to graphene oxide (GO). raphene oxide sheets consists of graphene sheet chemically functionalized with hydroxyl and epoxy groups, carbonyl groups are also present as carboxylic acids along the sheet edges.
