UV Flexo: a Cost Comparison Evaluation

This study evaluates the economic impact of different technologies in the field of graphic arts.
The comparison has been carried out between UV flexo printing and
1. conventional sheetfed offset printing on carton board
2. UV rotary letterpress printing of self-adhesive labels
3. solvent based flexo printing for flexible packaging.
Conclusions are drawn for three practical cases based on the cost of one single printed unit without
any consideration about quality, although thought to be similar.
