UV LED Curing in Low Migration Printing - Controlling the Variables

Once parameters for a low migration printing process are established, the most critical variable remaining is curing. Despite challenges for ink formulators, UV LED is the key curing technology eliminating this vulnerability. It is outlined, why UV LED curing due its unique properties is an enabling technology for printing within a tight operating window, and how it provides the required process stability and consistency compared to other curing technologies.
