Polytype is a leading engineering and manufacturing company and manufactures
among other equipment, machines for the paper, film and foil converting
industry. Polytype have subsidiary companies in Italy called Polytype-Prandi
and in the USA called Polytype America Corporation and have all in all approx.
900 employees.
The Pilot Plant is used for research and development, especially of coating,
drying- and curing technics.
The Plant is of course also available to interested customers at standard conditions.
Thanks to this Pilot Plant, the process know-how regarding materials and production
speed can be developed on an industrial scale.
The machine is designed and built with the latest state-of-the-art equipment
and the advantages to our customers are evident:
- No risks with layout and mahufacturing of custom tailored production machines.
- Due to the flexibility of the Pilot Plant, production trials can be made under
production conditions (no need to interrupt production on existing machines).
