IGM Resins is pleased to announce the creation of a new fulltime Executive Leadership Team position of Executive Vice President Transformation Office (EVP TO) and the appointment of Bart Oude Vrielink in this role effective February 1st, 2022.
After the launch of the Go Grow Green strategy in April 2021, IGM Resins established the Transformation Office to deliver on the strategic objectives. Bart Oude Vrielink assumed the dual role of EVP TO, besides his CFO role, where he impressively led the Transformation Office, as well as the Finance and IT functions globally.
The strategic importance of the transformation has led to the decision to create the fulltime EVP TO position. The EVP TO position will include the global IT responsibility driving the further digitalisation of the business as a critical enabler to IGM’s transformation.
Effective February 1, 2022, Bart Oude Vrielink has formally been appointed as Executive Vice President, Transformation Office. In this position he will remain part of IGM’s Executive Leadership Team, reporting to Wilfrid Gambade, CEO. He will be succeeded by Mr. Thijs van der Heide as CFO effective February 1, 2022.
‘’With the new fulltime EVP TO role within our organization, Bart will take the lead on driving our transformation, as well as our digital journey, to bring IGM to the next level by delivering on our strategic ambitions. I am therefore very excited to see his contribution within his new role and would like to congratulate him on this next career step in our company’’ says Wilfrid Gambade, IGM Resins’ CEO.
Bart Oude Vrielink joined IGM in June 2017 as Global Finance Director and he assumed the role of CFO in October 2018. In both roles, he played an instrumental role in further developing the (strategic) finance and IT functions for IGM. Per April 1, 2021, he assumed the dual role of CFO / EVP Transformation Office.
